Role Overview
As an Android App Developer, you’ll build and maintain Android applications using React Native. You’ll work with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver mobile apps that are fast, secure, and user-friendly, helping businesses across Africa scale digitally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Android apps using React Native.
- Ensure compatibility across a wide range of Android devices.
- Collaborate with designers and backend teams to ship new features.
- Debug, test, and optimize apps for performance and memory management.
- Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
- Research and apply emerging mobile development best practices.
Requirements & Skills
- 2+ years of Android app development experience with React Native.
- Strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, Gradle.
- Experience with REST APIs, Firebase, and Git.
- Familiarity with Material Design principles.
- Bonus: Flutter or cross-platform experience.
